Frequently asked questions

Is the metro expensive if I buy tickets separately?

Individual metro/bus tickets cost less than daily passes. The Roma Pass transport is unlimited for the pass duration, which matters only if you plan multiple trips across two or more days.

Do I need a separate card or pass ID?

No. The Roma Pass is digital on your phone or a physical card you receive. Scan or tap it at the metro gate like any transit card.

How often do metro trains and buses run in Rome?

Metro trains run frequently during the day and less often in the evening. Last trains depart around midnight. Buses run similarly frequent during peak hours, less so late evening.
